South Carolina Chili Cook-off Championship

The South Carolina Chili Cook-off Championship is a family-friendly event that takes place in Belton, SC, on the second Saturday of April each year.

The Cook-off qualifies the South Carolina contender for the 2012 International Chili Society's World Finals.

This day of fun, fellowship, good-natured rivalry, and civic support includes live entertainment, children's activities, and a broad array of arts and crafts vendors, informational booths, and special exhibits. Its true purpose, however, is raising desperately needed funding for the Belton Center for the Arts, the Belton Area Museum Association, and the Belton Interfaith Ministry Association, organizations that provide education, cultural awareness, food and clothing, and emergency assistance to families in Upstate South Carolina.
