Honoring Our Brave Heroes: Local McDonald’s Provides Special Offer to Active Military and Veterans on Veterans Day Shugart McDonald’s Anderson restaurants will be honoring our brave heroes including all active military and veterans with a free meal on Monday, November 11 as a small thank you for their service to our country. All military who visit a participating Shugart McDonald’s lobby and show valid ID or wear a uniform can enjoy a free Extra Value Meal of their choice. “We are more than happy to show our appreciation to the men and women in uniform who keep us safe every day,” said Terry Shugart, Anderson area McDonald’s owner/operator. “This is just one small way that we can say ‘thank you’ to the service members who have dedicated themselves to our country.”
