Open to all fixed wing propeller driven aircraft and all pilots

Race to the sun is a 400nm cross county air race with just one turn that also offers the racers a no penalty fuel stop. Race begins at Anderson County Regional Airport (KAND) in Anderson, SC. It is then a 250nm run to the only turn point and optional no penalty fuel stop at Suwannee County Airport (24J) in Live Oak, FL. The finish of the race will conclude at Winter Haven's Gilberty Field (GIF) in Winter Haven, FL.
