Let's Move 100 Mile Club: Walk-Run-Roll Event

Downtown Anderson is hosting the Walk-Run-Roll, an event that the entire family doesn't want to miss!

Participants in the event will log in miles through email, Facebook, or the recreation center log. If you are a 100 mile club member, a recognition ceremony will be held at the Anderson Christmas parade in your honor.

Walk-Run-Roll has a goal of 1,000 kids, parents, and the community, walking 100 miles each by the end of 2011.

Registrations for this event can be found at the Downtown Block Party or the City of Anderson recreation center. Registration donations of $20 will include a shirt and pedometer, or $10 dollars for each individual item.

Proceeds from the event will go to Touch the Future, Inc., a nonprofit organization that serves individuals who are disabled, seniors, veterans or from disadvantaged communities.
