The Cancer Association of Anderson (CAA) invites you to join us at Celebrate Anderson on September 2, 2018 at the Civic Center of Anderson to cheer on Roger Dickson and his son Andrew as they JUMP FOR HOPE with the Special Forces Association Parachute Team to raise funds for local cancer patients as they honor Roger’s father, Julian Dickson who finished his battle with cancer on February 5, 2013.
“I want to thank Rusty Burns and the Anderson County Council for allowing us the privilege to support the Cancer Association of Anderson and to bring attention to one of the most honorable cancer warriors I’ve ever known, my Dad,” said Roger. “Andrew and I want to bring recognition to my Dad who not only fought this evil disease, but also fought for our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. We encourage you to help us raise $10,000 – 100% of the proceeds go directly to CAA to meet the needs of Anderson County residents who are battling cancer.
For 15 years, CAA sponsors and donors have successfully supported our mission to lessen the burden on those who are battling cancer in our community. Unfortunately, the number of cancer patients seeking assistance continues to rise which means more than ever, we need your help and would greatly appreciate your support.
