On Thursday, October 24th, 2019 The Anderson Lights of Hope Village is going to the dogs! Pets are encouraged to bring their human friends to this Halloween festival and pet & people celebration – Halloween Howlin’ For Hope! This costume friendly evening kicks off at 5:00 pm and will feature pet exhibits, demonstrations, entertainment by the fabulous COMBO KINGS, food, A Trunk or Treat, kid costume contests, Howling Contests and much, much more! Pets can compete in the “Boo-tiful Costume Contest, mini obedience classes and the Combo Kings will be playing a live spooky concert.
Local pet organizations including the Humane Society, Anderson County PAWS, and others are co-hosts and will have booths with ample opportunities to fundraise for their groups that support our furry friends!
By sponsoring Howlin’ For Hope, you can rest assured that you are promoting an active, healthy and pet-friendly, kid safe community event that will help CAA fulfill our mission! Our patient assistance expenses increased again in 2019, so fundraising events such as Howlin’ For Hope remain vital to our ability to help residents in their fight against this horrible disease.
The Cancer Association of Anderson is the only LOCAL cancer charity in Anderson County. As you may know, our mission is to help reduce the burden on Anderson County residents battling cancer, caregivers, cancer survivors and their families by providing treatment-related financial assistance, information and referral as well as emotional support.
If you can help, we will greatly appreciate it. CAA is a 501(c)3 charity. If you have any questions, please visit www.CAAnderson.org or contact our office at 222-3500.
