Connect 2018

Connect 2018 is designed to build both strong communities and strong work environments in Anderson and the broader upstate South Carolina region. Often, we are uncomfortable or incapable of communicating effectively when the conversation involves race, gender, language, ethnicity or generational differences. CONNECT 2018 seeks to engage community stakeholders across varying business and industry sectors in an interactive, interpersonal, cross-cultural learning experience. 

 
Participants will explore a range of topics and conversations featuring The Racial Equity Institute (REI) based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Established in 2007, REI is a diverse alliance of trainers and organizers committed to bringing awareness and analysis to the root causes of disparities and "disproportionality."
