The Cancer Association of Anderson is excitedly planning its signature event, the Concert of Hope and Remembrance, on Saturday, September 8th at 7PM at Boulevard Baptist Church. This will be our 17th Annual Concert! Our concert provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support the Cancer Association’s work in Anderson County. The theme that our conductor Dr. Bob Heritage has chosen is, “Be Our Guest”. Dr. Heritage has chosen songs from famous Disney movies such as “Mary Poppins”, “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast” to showcase the fabulous voices of our choir and the talent of our symphony orchestra. This year promises to be a truly uplifting and inspirational evening that will fill the room with happiness as well as Hope and Remembrance. The Concert will once again take place at Boulevard Baptist Church. AND, you will not want to miss our famous Afterglow Party immediately following the Concert. Catered by Sullivan’s Metropolitan Grill with beverages supplied by Palmetto Moonshine and Carolina Beer, the AnMed Health Cancer Center is the perfect place to enjoy the “afterglow” of the evening while mixing and mingling with the concert choir and symphony orchestra as well as CAA Board Members and staff. Proceeds benefit the Cancer Association of Anderson to reduce the burden of cancer on LOCAL Anderson County patients. CAA is NOT affiliated with the American Cancer Society NOR do we receive any funding from them or any Relay for Life events!
