Amerikan Dream rises from the groundbreaking Amerikan Gothic exhibition, building upon those confrontational dialogues to create space for growth through contemplation. Where the first installment explored the rifts of racial and social injustice, Amerikan Dream asks what can come next when nothing in this great experiment is certain. It dwells in the borderlands between inescapable history and limitless possibility, emerging from the vicious conflicts of a past that threaten to become dead ends in the present, while still daring to imagine an absolutely new future shaped by hope, love, faith, repair, and reinvention.  Second installment of the Amerikan Trilogy On display at the Anderson Arts Center: August 28 - October 16, 2026 Opening Reception: August 28, 6:00 - 9:00pm
