8th Annual Electric City Gobbler 5K Run and Walk

Proceeds from the race are split between the Haven of Rest Holiday Meal program, where they feed thousands on Thanksgiving Day and at Christmas, and to Anderson Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry, Fishes and Loaves. In addition to the monetary donations, the race collects canned foods, blankets, and coats that can be donated as well.

In addition to the 5K Run & Walk, there is a 1-Mile Race run around the Anderson Mall. There will also be a Kid's Fun Run for those under 10 years of age. There is no charge for the Fun Run, but parents will need to sign a waiver before the race.

Race day registration begins at 6:30am. The 5K begins at 8:30am at the Main entrance to the Anderson Mall. The 1-Mile Race will begin at 9:15am, or just after the 5K is completed. The Fun Run will be run immediately after the 1-Mile Race.

There are long-sleeve t-shirts to all pre-registered runners and walkers. Door prizes will be available just before the awards presentation. There will be awards to runners in the 5K and 1-Mile races, and a medal for all Fun Run finishes. And, of course, refreshments will be available to all race participants after each race.
