DESCRIPTION:SWITCH is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Upstate South Carolina that is combating human trafficking and sexual exploitation in our community. We accomplish this through raising awareness of the reality of the sex industry in the Upstate\, aiding in the prevention of potential victims being entrapped or exploited\, reducing the demand for the sex industry\, and offering intervention and restoration programs to individuals who have been victimized. Over the last five years\, SWITCH has helped over 100 individuals leave the industry.\n\nWe are excited to announce this fall we will be hosting our third annual Freedom Gala on Friday\, November 16th at 6:00pm.  Last year this event was sold out and raised over $80\,000! The event this year will be at the Embassy Suites\, located on Verdae Boulevard\, where guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal\, hear from an amazing keynote speaker\, and participate in a silent auction. The fundraising goal of this event is to raise $125\,000 to be used for our 2019 budget.\n\nWe would like to invite you to partner with us in this fight. We cannot do this alone. Your participation will significantly influence how many individuals we can serve in the coming year. With this in mind\, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses\, churches\, and individuals who would like to be part of the solution. By sponsoring our Freedom Gala or purchasing tickets you'll be supporting SWITCH and helping us provide resources to individuals seeking freedom from the sex industry.
