SUMMARY:South Carolina Adopt-A-Stream
DESCRIPTION:South Carolina Adopt-a-Stream (SC AAS) creates a network of watershed stewardship\, engagement\, and education through involvement. Attendees will learn how to measure pH\, dissolved oxygen\, conductivity\, and temperature. The workshop will involve both indoor and outdoor instruction\, and conclude with a written exam. Individuals must complete the exam with 80% to become certified volunteers.\n\nAlthough attendees are not required to choose a stream monitoring site and begin monthly monitoring\, it is highly encouraged. This workshop is rain or shine and you are expected to become prepared to get in the stream - please bring boots & a lunch!\n\nSaturday\, December 14\, 2019 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
