Teams camp out at local schools\, parks\, or fairgrounds and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times\, while entertainment\, music\, and fun activities keep things lively. Symbolizing the battle waged by cancer patients\, the overnight event lasts up to 24 hours. Teams raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society before\, during\, and after the event.
